Ten other people had searched
unsuccessfully for the diamond engagement ring, and the first time Bob Donovan tried, his
luck was no better. Lost during a lovers' quarrel, the ring was thought to be somewhere in
a tangle of backyard shrubbery; so, some days later when Hurricane Bertha passed nearby,
shaking things up, Bob was asked to scan the yard again. Sure enough, under one of the
bushes he found the signal- and the ring- he was seeking!
